Automating the one decision most hosts still make by hand
You automated pricing and messaging years ago. Screening was always the odd one out.

Automation in short-term rentals has followed a predictable path. Pricing went first, then messaging, then cleaning schedules. The one thing that stubbornly stayed manual was deciding whether a guest was a good idea.
Partly that's because it felt like a judgement call. Mostly it's because the tools weren't there.
With Uplisting and Safeguest connected, a confirmed booking triggers the whole sequence automatically: the guest is invited to verify, their ID is checked biometrically, the stay is screened, and a red, yellow or green outcome comes back with a short written summary.
Crucially, green stays require nothing from you. That's the majority of bookings, and the whole point of automating a decision is that most instances of it never reach a human.
The exceptions do. When a booking scores yellow or red, you see it early — with enough time to ask a question, tighten the terms, or decline while cancelling still costs nothing.
For portfolios growing faster than their team, this is the difference between screening properly and screening when there's time.
